It was a low-key event sponsored by the folks at skinnycorp/threadless. Various companies had demos set up for the attendees to peruse, but the most interesting, by far to me was a company out of Boulder called Social Thing. Social Thing has created a site where users can add all (well most) of their social networking accounts (Flickr, Face Book, Twitter, etc) into one easy to view/update location. Check it out, they are in beta now, but will be releasing soon (you need an invitation code now – hint – leave a comment). They also have a cool iPhone app in the works.

TECH Cocktail

The best part about going to events like this is the free beer…no wait it’s the inspiration that i get. It makes me do better on web development projects with Invisible Window. It exposes new technology and gets the ideas churning. I kind of wish events like this were bi-monthly.
